- City Clerk report (.pdf) relative to the feasibility and cost of adding Armenian as a language available on election ballot materials starting with the 2013 or 2015 elections.
- Per the report, the City Clerk’s Election Division staff “concluded that providing Armenian language services may benefit this population”. The report notes that adding Armenian language services will result in “costs that will vary depending on the level of service or services added and whether approval is given in time for the City Clerk-Election Division to implement them by August 15”.

- Continued consideration of a motion to adopt an ordinance (.pdf) calling for a special election to be held on November 6, 2012, for the purpose of voting upon an amendment to the Los Angeles County Charter that would increase the term limits for the Board of Supervisors from three consecutive 4-year terms to five consecutive 4-year terms.

- City Attorney Report and Ordinance (.pdf) relative to amending various sections of the Los Angeles Municipal Code to create a Modified Parking Requirement District, which would allow for the use of one or more of seven specified parking requirement modification tools.
- Per the ordinance, the proposed Modified Parking Requirement Districts shall use one or more of the following “strategies”: (1) change of use parking standards, (2)off-site parking within 1500 feet, (3) parking reduction approval, (4) decreased parking requirements, (5) increased parking requirements, (6) commercial parking credits, and (7) maximum parking requirements.
